A short guide to Prague's night
life
Prague's nightlife has something for everyone. Prague clubs spin their
tunes from dusk 'til dawn, and whether you seek serious clubbing or
just a late drink and a night of cheesy tunes, Prague has it. Wherever
you go though, take it easy on the Absynth!

Zlaty Strom Bar & Club |
|
Zlaty Strom boasts three bars and 219 original cocktails prepared by
show barmen, a winter garden and terrace, non-stop international
cuisine and air-conditioning in every room.
The all night girl shows prove popular with visiting stag parties:
topless dancers, a three-girl strip show & lesbian shows are
all on
display for the price of a drink.
The music on the illuminated dance floor meanwhile tends to attract
young Czech teens.
All in all a curious mixture, although it does seem to work.

Karlovy Lazne Dance Club |
|
Karlovy
Lazne is four floors high and each level of the club plays a different
set of tunes. Just one entrance fee gets you into all levels, and
there's enough variation to keep even the most ardent clubber
entertained all night.
The club really starts to get busy after 10 pm at weekends, so to avoid
lengthy queues get there early.

Lavka Bar & Club |
|
On a cold winters night,
Lavka Bar
& Club is a pretty good place for a drink and a dance. On a hot
summer's evening though, Lavka is simply the best night out in Prague,
bar none.
Whether it's at night or during the day, a visit to Prague is
incomplete without dropping in on Lavka.

Duplex Dance Club & Café Bar |
|
During the day, Duplex is an ideal location for a coffee and a snack.
At night it transforms itself into one of Prague's more exclusive
clubs. The winning factor in both though has to be the roof terrace,
with magnificent views out over Prague.
Inside the club itself, cool lighting, high-tech sounds and some of
Prague's best DJ's await.
Prices are reasonable at the bars too. Altogether a special night out.
